June 2023 RC Homework. Student Buck/Riley

It all started in Tulsa Oklahoma 1-25-1957, just kidding, It started when I bought a 2 1/2 month old Golden Retriever. Unfortunately, Trixie had something terrible wrong with her. I was referred to Roxanne at the Richfield vet clinic. I had to get rid of Trixie. 

Roxanne was good enough to set up a puppy test with a liter of labs. Thats how I got Riley AKA HOW. That's the name the ladies gave her. Hell on Wheels. Training was good for a while then I had some health issues and just couldn't do the training. I was ready to quit but Roxanne, Jesse, Mary, and Trina trained her while I got better. They are all awesome and did a great job. 

Now I'm learning all of the handling with her. My expectations were not good for Riley at first. She earned her nickname, and I didn't see it happening, but this course is great and even Riley is making progress. I look to having a dog that obeys and has a soft mouth. I may even have to take up bird hunting. Thanks to all of you for your help. Can't wait to start this new training.
