I was surprised when Trina apologized for posting late, because I assumed the Exam you posted was for a previous year that met earlier in the week. The catch is, I also assumed we were doing exactly the same thing as last week's exam, except at 6", So I was going to wait until tomorrow to retry against prey before posting my three videos.
Man, I really need to pay better attention to the actual assignment. 🤦♀️
Now I'm worried that you really did want these submitted by yesterday, Roxanne, so I'm sorry that I'm late, too!
I will post the two I did today, just for fun. I think we were closest to a 'pass' against social so I will put that one first. 😌

ReplyDeleteKat & Niko RC Lesson 4 Exam Posted!
Kat,
ReplyDeleteThese are two VERY different EXAMS, BUT both EXAMs are equally challenging for Niko. I actually think the 'scary lawn mower' and family presence was harder for Niko to do than the first EXAM against planted distractions squirmy Riley and here/there Nova-:) But BOTH EXAMS are passes and so very well done.
Feedback?
1) You already know this, but once the dog moves forward, THEN step forward with your left leg.
2) Alas, your pedal pusher pants and shoes, lack of socks and protection for your skin are NOT appropriate dog training gear.
I love the fact you kept working Niko to 'I just want 2 retrieves in a row without an EC' mindset is perfect KMODT thinking. I have this quote in my office, "She believed she could, so she did." Yup, your thinking is correct, Niko responded well, and I believe Niko is understanding you ARE TBIC. That's what Niko needs to respect, obey and trust your leadership. You are both doing oh so well! Bravo.
