I did not do as many retrieves this week as I should have. 😱 I think I averaged about 15 per day. I don’t think we did any on Friday, at all! After the HHPR I drove to Richfield to work against a friend’s garage door monster, almost fell asleep driving on the way, parked in front of the wrong house on the wrong block… and the garage door monster scared the pee out of Niko, again— just on a sit-stay as far back as I could get from it. 😔 I went home and passed out until it was time to get ready for work…
Even so- she did some pretty good retrieves with me this morning! We started with a delicious smelling sausage egg and cheese bundle, and tried again against the big dog and the obnoxious cat.
I promise these were some legit distractions- after this I had the hardest longe line session against the cat I’ve ever had with Niko against anything.
Stupid cat.
